Drawing Processed Excrement, gold, and graphite on watercolor paper (100% cotton) It consists of a series of drawings of decorated private spaces. I use two principal materials: gold and processed human excrement from those who inhabit these rooms. I use the excrement as a pigment. I explore the material’s color, according to the natural process of creating it through food, looking for a warm color so that it blends with gold. It was exhibited in my recent Open Studio as part of the Cuban Artists Fund’s artist-in-residence 2022 in Manhattan, New York.

Albert Einstein said that the key is to ask ourselves questions we have never asked before. To look where we usually do not look and discover what is hidden in us precisely because we never look. Look, find, and beautify to heal.
