Pointe shoes and blood of Estheysis Menéndez, Solo Dancer from the National Ballet of Cuba and the Houston Ballet.
The only way to stay on top in life is to give your all and do your best, even if that leads to physical or spiritual bleeding because of the level of learning and transformation we must undergo to grow. However, that path does not have to be defined by pain; it can also be forged through love, dedication, and the power of our potential. It is a process of growth that may lead to physical bleeding, as in the case of ballet dancers, while in other cases it emerges through difficult lessons, emotional challenges, and spiritual development. In both instances, we can speak of a transformation of the body—a sacrifice made in the pursuit of growth, self-realization, and becoming the fullest version of ourselves.
